Pupils who are considering Engineering courses at university should make sure they gain work experience to confirm their interest. In addition, a number of universities offer 'taster courses'. These courses tend to get booked up early, so make an early application.
- Headstart is a well-established education programme whose aim is to encourage students interested in mathematics or science to consider technology-based careers.
